Wintry weather alters school calendar

The loss of four school days due to inclement weather means that the White Salmon Valley School District school year calendar has changed. If there are no more school days lost, here are the changes:
1) There will be school Thursday, Jan. 26.
2) The first semester’s final day will be Jan. 31.
3) The “Semester Break” Day is now Feb. 1. There will be no school on that day.
4) The second semester begins Feb. 2.
5) There will be school on March 16 and May 25.
6) The final day of school will be June 15. Eight grade promotion will be June 14.
